Great point, Kyla. We keep a little bucket in the garage for all these bits and pieces that we can't somehow reuse or repurpose and haul it off to our town's hazardous materials collection days twice a year. But I didn't know computer mice (mouses?) were hazardous. I found this useful article when I looked it up: http://printerinkcartridges.printcountry.com/inkjet-recycling-and-buyback-recycled-empty-cartridges-related-articles/recycling-computers-and-computer-accessories-such-as-mouse-printer-copier-cartridges/

Hi-
Just want to mention that if it really is broken, obviously it needs to be recycled because there are hazardous metals in it. But I want to add that this applies to anything with electronic components - even a little computer mouse.
thanks!
